Why do I see a VPN icon in my status bar?
BettorOff uses iOS's Network Extension to filter DNS requests locally on your device. iOS displays a VPN icon whenever a Network Extension is active. BettorOff is not a VPN — it does not route your traffic through any external server. All blocking happens on your phone.

My blocking stopped working.
This can happen if you have a third-party VPN running, as iOS only allows one network extension at a time. Disable your VPN and re-enable BettorOff from the Protect tab. You can also try toggling the filter off and back on.

Can I block a site that isn't in the default list?
Yes. Go to the Protect tab and add any domain using the custom site input field.

How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings (Profile tab) and tap "Delete Account." This permanently removes all your data including your profile, streak history, and slip-up logs.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > BettorOff to cancel or change your plan.

How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases."
